As a user, I would like to separate a multi-page PDF anywhere and then save it as individual PDFs. This would allow me to dispense with dividers or bar codes when scanning.

In my opinion, dividing (or borrowing pages) of documents would still be very helpful later (after magnetization).
example:
As part of an order document, we repeatedly receive additional pages that describe the details of the contract in more detail (contract terms, specifications, parts lists). 
The order document must be archived as such. For individual work steps derived from this, however, only a few contract components are important and the corresponding processors should be specifically provided with the components relevant to them.

We should keep manual document separation in here as a feature and would probably be offered primarily in magnetization, as the documents are not yet as heavily loaded with versions, comments, etc. - if there is an alternative solution through partners, I would be happy and would then also advertise as part of a newsletter when ready.

An early beta version of a corresponding tool is already working. Just a bit more patience ;-)
