Identification of duplicates in magnetization
Florian Liesenfeld
A document that is recognized as a duplicate due to identical features remains stuck in the magnetization. It would be nice to mark these documents as duplicate data.
Right now I'm starting magnetization. Recognize that all features are filled. Save the document and only then get the message that it is a duplicate.

As described by Florian Liesenfeld, the duplicate check can also be switched off. And most customers want security that the same documents (especially invoices) are not automatically processed in Amagno. It is therefore envisaged that, in this case, these documents end up in magnetization for testing.

Is it possible to configure duplicate handling more precisely?
I mean, we reject the import from the outset and the duplicate documents end up in a subfolder of the import directory without any notice. This is often quite irritating because colleagues wait for “their” receipt and don't even notice that it is already in the system. First contact support with a search for possible causes, etc....

How did you solve the problem that the duplicates hit in magnetization?
Florian Liesenfeld
Rüdiger Marx: In the file settings under import settings, we have defined that documents are automatically renamed (import behavior) and that duplicates are not allowed (behavior with duplicates). Since there are almost no duplicates of content in the incoming invoice process (with us), this duplicate recognition is almost never effective.
We have also activated duplicate recognition based on characteristics for each document type. If, for example, the supplier name, invoice number and gross amount match, the invoice is not imported and remains stuck in the magnetization.
The classic is that a supplier sends us their invoice by e-mail and also sends it by post shortly afterwards. The inbox office unknowingly scans the invoice. Since the characteristics described above match, the calculation is stuck in the magnetization.
